Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) Policy

Last updated: September 16, 2026

1. Zero-tolerance commitment

SugarHut.club ("we", "us", "the Platform") has a strict zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). SugarHut is an adults-only dating platform. We do not permit any person under the age of 18 to create an account, use the Platform, or appear in any content shared on it. Any violation of this policy results in immediate and permanent removal from the Platform.

2. Age verification

The Platform is restricted to adults aged 18 and over. New members must confirm they are at least 18 years old before an account can be created. We additionally use an independent age- and identity-verification provider (Didit) to verify that members are adults. Any account we determine to belong to, or to be operated on behalf of, a person under 18 is permanently terminated and its data deleted, and the matter may be reported to the relevant authorities.

3. Prohibited content and conduct

The following are strictly prohibited and result in immediate account termination and, where applicable, a report to law enforcement:

  • Any content depicting, or appearing to depict, a person under the age of 18, whether real, modified or artificially generated;
  • Any sexualised content involving minors, including written material, role-play or suggestions of underage activity;
  • Any attempt to contact, groom, solicit or arrange to meet a person under 18, or to use the Platform to facilitate such conduct;
  • Sharing, linking to, or requesting child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind;
  • Any depiction of non-consensual sexual content, sexual violence, or bestiality.

SugarHut does not host adult sexual content. Our community guidelines additionally prohibit nudity and any depiction of sexual acts, regardless of the age of the person depicted.

4. Content moderation

All uploaded media (photos and videos) is scanned by an automated moderation service (Sightengine) before it becomes visible to other members, with the explicit goal of detecting and blocking nudity, sexual content and content suggestive of minors. Avatars and gallery images that fail moderation are rejected before publication. Human moderators review reported content and accounts. Messages flagged by members are reviewed by our Trust & Safety team.

5. Reporting CSAE content

Any member who encounters content or conduct they believe involves, or may involve, child sexual abuse or exploitation must report it immediately. Reports can be submitted:

  • Through the in-app Report function on the offending member's profile, message or community post;
  • By emailing our Trust & Safety team at [email protected].

Reports of suspected CSAE are treated as the highest priority and are reviewed within 24 hours. We preserve relevant evidence and cooperate fully with law-enforcement investigations.

6. Action taken on violations

Where a report of CSAE is substantiated, or where automated moderation or our team identifies such content, we:

  • Permanently remove the content and terminate the offending account without warning;
  • Block the offender from re-registering using the same identifiers;
  • Preserve the relevant records and report the matter to the appropriate national authorities. In the United Kingdom this is the National Crime Agency (NCA); internationally we report to the relevant jurisdiction's law-enforcement agency;
  • Where the material constitutes child sexual abuse material (CSAM), submit a report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline and/or the INHOPE hotline serving the relevant country.

7. Cooperation with authorities and hotlines

SugarHut cooperates fully with law-enforcement agencies and recognised hotlines (including the UK's Internet Watch Foundation, NCMEC and INHOPE member hotlines) and responds to valid legal requests for data in connection with CSAE investigations without delay.

8. Platform integrity controls

To reduce the risk of CSAE on the Platform, we maintain the following controls:

  • Adults-only account creation, with age confirmation and Didit identity/age verification;
  • Automated image and video moderation for nudity, sexual content and suspected-minor content prior to publication;
  • In-app reporting and blocking tools available to every member;
  • A dedicated Trust & Safety review queue for CSAE reports with a 24-hour response target.

9. Contact

For questions about this policy, or to report suspected child sexual abuse or exploitation, contact our Trust & Safety team at [email protected].
