Once verified, you receive a green shield badge that significantly boosts your visibility and trust with other members. How do I hide my profile from search? Go to Settings and toggle "Hide My Profile". Your profile will be invisible in search results, but you can still send and receive messages from existing conversations. However, the Search Members feature will be disabled whilst your profile is hidden. Can I change my username? Usernames are set during profile creation and cannot be changed afterwards. Choose carefully when signing up! How do I delete my account? Go to Settings > "Permanently Delete My Profile". Type DELETE to confirm. This is irreversible — all your messages, matches, and data will be permanently removed. I forgot my password. What do I do? On the sign-in page, click "Forgot Password" and enter your email address. You'll receive a link to reset your password. Can I change my email address? Yes. Go to Settings and update your email address. You may need to verify the new email address before the change takes effect. How do I change my password? Go to Settings > "Change Password". Enter your new password twice and click "Update Password". ## Safety How do I block someone? Open their profile and scroll down to the safety actions below their photo. Click "Block". Blocked members cannot view your profile or message you, and you will no longer see them in search results. How do I report someone? Open their profile and click "Report". The member will be blocked and reported to our moderation team immediately. You can also report from within a message conversation. What happens after I report a member? Our moderation team reviews the report. If a violation is confirmed, action will be taken ranging from a warning to a permanent suspension, depending on severity. Whatever the outcome, the member will automatically be blocked to you, so they will not be able to contact you anymore or see your profile. Is my personal information safe? Yes. Verification documents (ID and biometric scans) are encrypted and never displayed publicly. Your email address is private and not visible to other members. What content is not allowed on the platform? We do not allow: nudity in public galleries, AI-generated fake profile images, content involving minors, external contact details in profiles or images (e.g. phone numbers, social media handles), hate speech, or illegal content. Violations can result in immediate suspension. Can someone see that I viewed their profile? Yes. Profile views are recorded and visible to the profile owner in their Likes & Views section. Likewise you can see if someone views your profile, unless they are in Stealth mode. What is a mutual match? What is a mutual match? Can I see who viewed my profile? Yes. From the Search page or the profile page for the member you wish to message. You can easily initiate a conversation and interact. Can I send photos or videos in messages? Yes. You can share photos and videos within your conversations. All media is screened for compliance with our community guidelines. Is there a video call feature? Yes, we have a video call feature which is a great way to see if the chemistry and vibe is right. You need to have exchanged a minimum of 3 messages with a member before you can have a video call – this is to prevent harassment and accidental calling. Do messages expire? Yes. Messages are automatically deleted after 90 days to protect your privacy and keep the platform secure. ## Profile & Visibility Why is my profile not showing in search? Check that you have uploaded a profile photo and that "Hide My Profile" is disabled in Settings. Profiles without photos are hidden from search results. How do I get verified? Go to Settings and click "Start Verification". Complete the facial biometric scan and upload a government ID. Verification typically takes 1-2 minutes. What is Founding Member status? Founding Members are the first members to join SugarHut.club. They receive a special status, priority in search results, and lifetime free premium features. These members have been fundamental to our growth and a testament to quality and loyalty. Can I pause my account? You can hide your account indefinitely, which hides it from other messages in the Search results (but prevent you from searching too), or you can use "Stealth Mode" in Settings to hide your profile for 24 hours while still browsing.
